A couple of the photos I took for Henrietta House’s website. The hotel has only just reopened so it was very exciting to be one of the first people to see the fabulous decoration and renovation work done on this gorgeous Georgian building.

Chester is an adorable Cocker Spaniel puppy I photographed this month. His owner had warned me beforehand that he can be very excitable so I turned up fully prepared to chase my subject round the garden and to have a sloppy nose or tongue smearing my lenses. Yet once the camera appeared Chester was on his best behaviour. The photographs are to be a Christmas present for the daughter of Chester’s owner, here’s hoping she likes them!
[UPDATE: Apparently the daughter burst into tears upon opening the present, thankfully they were tears of joy!]

Gina Edge is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from America. She wanted some shots of her playing at her favourite Bath haunts to remember her stay by. It was great fun to capture her in full swing!

Bath truly is one of England’s most beautiful cities whatever the time of year. In the summer the sandstone glows a glorious gold and in the winter the powerful architecture takes on a sublime gothic atmosphere. To mark the New Year I thought I’d post some of my favourite shots from out and about.

If you think photographing one toddler is difficult then try photographing six at once! Westonbirt wanted some new PR shots of children playing amongst the autumn colours so they brought me in for a fun (and tiring!) day of chasing these tots through the forest in pursuit of the perfect picture – cue lots of mud, leaf fights and laughter.

Every year the Jane Austen centre in Bath holds a festival to celebrate the writer’s life and work. Fans from all over the world descend on Bath to take part, often in costume. To mark the opening of the festival a parade is made from the Abbey to the Royal Crescent. It’s very amusing to watch cars stop for people in frocks or tails.
